Construction Update: Preparing for the Installation of the Module Facer

The foundation for the second module facer from BHS Corrugated has been completed. In mid-April, the hall floor was poured with fresh concrete as scheduled. This marks the completion of all necessary groundwork for installing the machine. The base for the module facer is now in place, along with the underfloor tracks.

With the machine delivery expected in mid-May, work is now moving upward. Sections of the roof need to be carefully opened to allow for the installation of the ventilation system and the routing of exhaust air ducts.

The steel contractor has already installed the substructure for the control cabinet, while the electrician has begun the electrical installation work in parallel. The ventilation team has also started laying the exhaust air ducts. All of this ensures that everything will be ready for a smooth and efficient installation once the new module facer arrives.

In addition, technical modifications were carried out last week on the first corrugating line and at the control station. The goal was to bring both corrugating lines up to the same technical standard, allowing orders to be distributed more evenly between them in the future.
