25th Anniversary of the Niedersachsenpark
It was a sunny and colorful family festival when the Niedersachsenpark celebrated its 25th anniversary on June 4. We were also happy about the large number of visitors at our stand and distributed fresh popcorn and drinks. Our connect-four game made of corrugated cardboard was enjoyed by young and old.
The anniversary celebration kicked off on Saturday with a gala evening with invited guests. Our Commercial Director Linda Stärk, born Zerhusen, took part in a panel discussion here and emphasized that sustainability is an integral, strategic part of our company philosophy.
Since the founding of the Niedersachsenpark industrial park on the A1, 75 companies from a wide range of industries have settled here, creating around 3300 jobs. The "Park" is developing into a North German industrial center, which is certainly due to the very good logistical connection to the A1. Last year we started the construction of our second plant there, as we have reached our capacity limits in Damme. It is intended as a practical addition to the nearby headquarters.
We are looking forward to starting production in our second plant in the fall and congratulate Niedersachsenpark on its 25th anniversary.
