Construction Update: Progress at the APL Site
Work on the APL construction site is progressing smoothly and according to plan. Multiple teams are currently on-site, ensuring that each phase of the project stays on schedule.
The concrete workers are making final touch-ups and finishing details, while the façade team is wrapping up the last phase of their work. Meanwhile, the roofing crew is busy with their tasks and will move straight to the goods reception hall once they finish at the APL. At the same time, excavation teams are installing stormwater and wastewater pipes while preparing the ground for the concrete slab. There’s also significant progress in the steelwork—contractors are currently assembling part of the new skywalk in the goods reception hall.
Technical installations are moving forward as well. The sprinkler system inside the building is being set up, while electricians and heating specialists are laying supply lines from the WPA to the APL. The lightning protection system has already been fully installed. A key focus now is the concrete slab, with its complex installation scheduled to begin next week.
There’s still work to be done before the APL is fully operational, but everything remains on track for its planned commissioning in December.
