More Speed, More Precision – Our Investments in 2025/2026

To secure our production capacity in the long term and increase flexibility, we will expand our second corrugator, “Vicky” in spring 2026 with an additional Modul-Facer from BHS. This upgrade will allow the machine to produce both single-wall and double-wall corrugated board.

To make room for the new Modul-Facer, the paper storage area currently located at Corrugator 2 will be dismantled. Once the Automatic Paper Storage (APL) is operational, inventory will be transferred there.

We are also investing in cutting-edge technology at Plant II: Starting in October 2025, installation will begin on a new rotary die cutter from Göpfert, a manufacturer with whom we’ve already had excellent experience at our Damme site. The complete line includes an automated prefeeder, three printing units, the powerful rotary die cutter, and a sheet stacker. Commissioning is planned for December 2025.

In addition, next year we plan to purchase two “MuKFeed” prefeeder robots for our folder-gluer machines (FKM) Turbox 230 in Damme and Turbox XL in Plant II. The MuKFeed systems automatically depalletize and separate die-cut products and feed them precisely into the FKM.

A prefeeder robot not only increases productivity and precision through consistent working speed and high repeat accuracy but also improves safety and eases the workload on our employees – an important step toward modernizing our folder-gluer production.
