Summer Festival with Concert by IMV Neuenkirchen e.V.
On Saturday, June 28, the area around our new Automatic Paper Roll Warehouse (APL) was transformed into a place of togetherness: the Zerhusen family invited employees and their families to a big Family Day 2025. What was originally planned as a “small” summer festival turned into an unforgettable event with around 1,500 guests.
A special occasion gave the day a personal touch: Senior boss Günter Zerhusen celebrated his 97th birthday in the same week — and was honored with great appreciation by guests and family alike.
There was plenty of food and drink: a lavish cake buffet in the afternoon, a barbecue buffet in the evening, refreshing soft-serve ice cream, and cool drinks rounded out the culinary offerings. There was also plenty for the youngest guests to discover: a mini train, two pony carriages, and a bouncy castle provided fun, games, and sparkling children’s eyes.
A musical highlight was the concert in the new APL hall: bagpipe players, vocal performances, a trumpet solo, alphorn blowers, and impressive lighting effects created a truly special atmosphere.
