Start in December 2025: Automatic Paper Storage Successfully Commissioned
With state-of-the-art control technology, the automatic paper storage (APL) manages the entire raw paper inventory fully automatically—from delivery through to production.
From mid-October 2025, our automated paper storage system (APL) gained its “intelligence” through advanced automation programming. At the heart of the facility is the crane system in the large storage hall, where data from the crane, conveyor, and measuring systems is integrated. This allows the entire paper roll inventory to be controlled and managed fully automatically.
On December 1, 2025, the APL was successfully commissioned. In addition to the storage hall, the new building complex includes truck-accessible goods receiving hall and a transport bridge connecting to the corrugating plant. At the same time, the adjoining office wing was completed, offering modern workspaces, break and social areas, a spacious meeting room, and new sanitary facilities.
With a storage capacity of around 13,600 tons of corrugated base paper, the APL provides the foundation for efficient and reliable material supply to our production operations.
