We Are Building a New Training Workshop
At the beginning of the year, we started construction of our new training workshop. In the future, it will not only provide modern learning and working conditions for our apprentices, but will also serve as an official examination site of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK).
Our current workshop has been in use since 2019 and has now reached its spatial capacity limits. For this reason, a new and larger training environment is being created on approximately 380 m² in Hall 14, a former Boge hall. It will be complemented by a 150 m² multifunctional room, as well as additional office, break, and training rooms in the adjacent hall areas.
The technical equipment is also being expanded: a new milling machine, a lathe, and additional drilling machines will extend the machine park and enable our apprentices to gain even more hands-on experience as part of a top-level training program.
At present, the floor plan and structure are already visible, the workshop has been enclosed within the hall, and the shell construction with a reinforced concrete ceiling has been completed. The associated office spaces were stripped back last year and are now undergoing extensive renovation.
The new training workshop is scheduled to go into operation on time for the start of the apprenticeship program on August 1, 2026.
